Privacy Policy

The short version

ZeroKit's tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, upload, or generate in any tool is sent to a server, stored on our end, or seen by anyone but you. There are no accounts, no logins, and no databases collecting your activity.

What ZeroKit does not do

Local storage

Some tools save your progress using your browser's local storage (localStorage), so your data persists if you close and reopen the tab. This data is stored only on your own device — it never leaves your browser, and we have no access to it. You can clear it at any time through your browser's settings.

Google Fonts

This site loads the Inter font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Loading a font this way means your browser makes a request directly to Google's servers, which can see the request's IP address as part of normal web infrastructure. This is standard for most websites using web fonts, and Google's own privacy policy governs how that data is handled on their end. If you'd prefer not to send this request, you can use a browser extension that blocks third-party font loading, though the site will fall back to your device's default font.

GitHub Pages hosting

ZeroKit is hosted on GitHub Pages. As with any web host, GitHub's servers process standard technical information (like IP address and browser type) as part of serving the pages, governed by GitHub's own privacy policy. ZeroKit itself does not add any additional tracking on top of this.

Analytics

ZeroKit uses Google Search Console to understand how the site performs in search results (e.g. which pages are indexed). This does not track individual visitors using the tools themselves — it relates only to search performance data provided by Google.

Donations

The donation link on the About Us page goes to PayPal.me, an external site operated by PayPal. Any information you provide there is handled under PayPal's own privacy policy, not ZeroKit's — we never see or receive your payment details.

Children's privacy

ZeroKit does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, since no data is collected from any user in the first place.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is ever updated, the change will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date at the top.
